What service management needs do you have today that are not being met by technology?


The thing I most commonly hear from service management companies is the difficulty they have receiving and acknowledging work orders from multiple technologies; specificially ServiceChannel, FM Pilot and FM Maintenance. WorkOasis has taken the first step in solving this problem with the email parser (screenshot shown here), but the best long term solution would be the development of data standards and requirement for open connectivity.

  1. Bob, Does that mean by emailing a comment to the provider that you have shown above your comment will automatically update FMPilot in the comments section? Or does it simply email FS with an update that they would then use to upate the workorder?

    If you are using WorkOasis as the system of record we can interface with any other work order system as long as we have their agreement.

    To specifically answer your question, technically this can be easily done but we have not approached FM Pilot about this yet.
